Chamber of Commerce, BDSSIA to meet State GST Department

The members of the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries, from the Belgaum District Small Scale Industries Association, held a joint meeting with the State GST Department Joint Commissioner and the Tax Practitioners. The organizations have received several complaints from Trade & Industry members. The complaints state that the State GST Department is issuing notices about mismatch in GST Returns related to E-way Bill Mismatch and other issues related to GST. 

The meeting was held to address these issues along with the Joint Commissioner. The members have requested the department to not harass the Industrial and Traders. They said that some of the officers are purposefully visiting the Market area and issuing notices to the traders.     

The President of BCCI has informed them to call a joint meeting with the Trade and Industrial members, along with all State GST Officials at the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries to discuss and resolve the issues.
