R Madhavan “Totally impressed and flabbergasted” to receive IT Return within 3 Weeks

Actor R Madhavan on Monday took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise the income tax department for their “efficiency” and “transparency” after his company, Leukos Films, received its income tax refund promptly. Since being shared just a few minutes ago, the post has amassed over 32,000 views. Madhavan lauded the “speed” and “promptness” of the department in processing his company’s income tax refund in just three weeks.

"The income tax refund for our company was received within 3 weeks after filing of return for AY 2023-24. The speed and promptness are simply unheard of," Madhavan wrote.

"The efficiency and transparency of the income tax department is unbelievable. Totally impressed and flabbergasted," he continued.

He also tagged Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the Prime Minister’s Office in his post.

Meanwhile, in September, the “Rocketry” actor-director praised Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, saying it was one of the best in the world. In a video, he said that the airport’s Terminal 2 is superlative.

He was also impressed by the airport’s infrastructure and called the garden-themed international terminal “exotic”.

"It's incredible what the infrastructure in India is becoming! I'm at the new Kempegowda International Airport. And I'm telling you, it looks like an exotic... exotic place! Nobody will believe that this is an airport," he said in a video on Instagram.

"And all the plants you see hanging from the ceiling in different parts of the airport are actually real plants, that are being watered every day, from the ceiling. And a lot of the construction as you can see above is all made of bamboo. Just look at the ceiling. And it's all themed around sustainability in India. Very proud! Very well-done man!" Madhavan added.

His post went viral and even caught Prime Minister Narendra Modi's attention. Reacting to the clip, PM Modi wrote, "Next-gen infrastructure for India’s growth."
