Taxpayers and Chartered Accountants should File Documents Immediately

Taxpayers and chartered accountants are required to file their documents related to income tax immediately. The deadline for submitting the relevant income-tax documents has been extended till February 15. Income Tax India has tweeted that the taxpayers are required to file the documents related to income tax as soon as possible. The deadline has been extended to February 15, 2022, for filing Form 3CA-3CD/3CB-3CD. As mentioned under Section 44AB, the taxpayers are supposed to file the Tax Audit Report with the detailed statements at the earliest. For filing Form 29C, the deadline has been extended till 15 February 2022. This is the last due date of filing the form under Section 115JC of the Income-tax Act, 1961.



The taxpayers are required to file the Tax Audit Report along with the statements containing all the particulars, as specified under section 44AB, within the last date of February 15, 2022.



Chartered accountants are required to furnish the audit reports under Section 115JC under the Income Tax Act, 1961. The reports must be furnished within the due date for calculating the Adjusted Total Income and Alternate Minimum Tax of a person other than a company.
