The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has decided to name the upcoming museum in Mumbai after the name of its past President and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.
According to the report of an MCA Apex Council member, this idea of naming the museum after the former President’s name has been approved in an urgent meeting of the Apex Council. According to the report of the MCA Council member to the PTI, architect Sandeep Shirke and associates will be the PMC for the upcoming museum in Mumbai.
The proposal was raised by the present MCA President Vijay Patil. The decision was unanimously supported by the other members of the Apex Council. According to his statement, the name of the former President of MCA, Sharad Pawar, has added more glory and prestige to the MCA. He has added glory and pride to cricket in Mumbai, as well as internationally. The Apex Council member remarked that Pawar Saheb had an intense dedication in the game of cricket and his contributions to the sport have been highly appreciated and shall remain immortal.
