The Income Tax department has raised necessary cautions in the public domain on Tuesday. To protect the people from fraudulent job offers, the IT department has notified that the aspirant job seekers should only rely on the job offers or advertisements that are available on the official websites of the Income Tax department or SSC.
The IT department has warned the public to stay alert from potential fraud job offers which mislead the job-seekers by offering fake job application letters for joining the Income Tax Department.
The direct tax apex body has issued a notice stating that some job scam rackets trap young job aspirants by giving fake appointment letters in the name of the Income-tax department.
The Income Tax Department has clearly notified that all the employees working under the IT department are selected through conducting the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam. The result of the said exam is uploaded on the official SSC website.
The regional allocation of the selected individual is mentioned on the I-T departmental website. In the public notice, the Income-tax department stated that the aspirant job-seekers should be well aware of the fake advertisements, notifications, and appointment letters that are circulated through any other platform apart from the official Income-tax departmental website and SSC website.
